Hey guys, been around for awhile lurking, and recently a hydro store has opened in my town. My question is how sketch is it to go to a store in your own town, any precautions I should take or am i overreacting . I have the option of going 2 hours out of town, and liked the fact that it was far away and not close to where i live. I am not getting my light at the store in my town, but just small things like bags and nutes. I always thought dont shit where you sleep so i dont know if that applys to this... haha well thanks guys

You sound like me! Lol Before I realized that there was a "Feed & Garden" store literally walking distance from my house, I went to the store 30 minutes away from my house. I think you should buy your lighting from the one furthest away and any small sh!t like nutes and bags are fine to buy from the one closest to you. PAY CASH! Its no mystery to the people at the hydro store what you are using the stuff for and all they care about is selling the products like any other business. They never ask me what I'm growing and I tend to know exactly what I want before I go so that I am in and out. When I went to buy my light and there were other young men in the store buying 1000w HPS lighting and shit, I swore that the police was staking out across the street trynna find out who the dopeman was. Lol Young people (male especially) don't grow vegetables where I live.

Shop local, you should support your local store, your going to need it some day and you will be glad its there. There is nothing illegal about ANYTHING they sell there. Don't use code, don't say anything, plants are plants if you have plant questions just refer to your garden or your plants, do not try to be clever or sneaky. Traffic in and out of your house or selling dope to someone who gets busted will get you in trouble. Telling anyone about your garden will get you in trouble, showing off, having reasons for police to come to you house, fighting, drunken mobs, things like that. The 2 biggest worries PEOPLE and SMELL.

i agree with morbocreepwad on the fact that you should go to your local hydro store, But i HIGHLY DISAGREE with the fact that you should not post pics, because posting pics means spreading more knowledge through the cannabis world and I also believe that IT IS NOW OUR TIME AS STONERS TO EDUCATE THE WORLD ON THIS AMAZING PLANT.

If your going to post pics, make sure there are no identifying elements in them, this includes fixtures, architecture, cars, etc. Make sure you erase any RAW info (pics are tagged by your camera with tons of information some now include GPS) and do not up load from your computer or network, using proxies such as TOR may help you if you can not use other equipment.

Yeah, posting pics isn't too bad. Just make sure you use an anonymous proxy. Good advice is to use a proxy inside of a proxy to be sure. I use www.barackobama4president.info. Make sure that if you are posting pics that there is no incriminating evidence in them that will identify you and use photobucket as the middle man and just paste the links in your post. If someone wants to really find out who you are, they will. Just make them have to work for that sh!t. Good Luck and support your local store.

LOL, yeah, I think tomatoes is the code in all the stores. When I was purchasing my set up years ago, the lady looked and me and said TOMATOES, you are growing TOMATOES then winked and pointed to the sign that said "if you ask about growing anything illegal, we will ask you to leave our store".

So if tomatoes = pot, then what is the code word for tomatoes?
