I don't grow hydro, but i'm guessing that after 2 weeks in just water, it will need feeding.

looks like ph burn.....you said pure water right...im assuming this is with a tds of 6-20 which would be reverse osmosis or distilled water with a very acidic ph of 4 or less...this is causeing this problem...im certain...you have to boost the ph...please get a kit for 10 bucks and some ph up for 10 bucks and asjust...thanks

he does sound about right
