Hey, I've been doing some reading and hear different numbers for yields, I was wondering what kind of weight I can expect from a grow, so here's the details;

- 3 plants
- all sativa
- I havn't decided on a strain yet, if you could, just try to generalize it with the rest of the info
- kept in a greenhouse
- I plan on veging for 2 months, and flowering for 3 months (or whatever the strain requires)

I was thinking I would average somewhere in the ballpark of 5' plants that yield atleast 300 grams each. This'll be my first go at growing this season and I'm still totally new at this, are those figures way off? If so, what kind of yields do you guys get with your operations? And what kind of specs are used?

You forgot to tell us the most important thing... what light will you be using?

by greenhouse . . are u planning to rely on the big firey 1 up in the sky?

I dunno, ORMeds... me and a buddy planted a dozen plants in a cornfield 2 miles hike from our house (so, imagine how much daily attention they got from two 15-year old stoners).. some 30 years ago in WI. We ended up with 5 females and 3 pounds of nice sinse... we had good seeds, strong backs, and knew enough to pull the males, but that's about it.

Yeah, the plan was to use the sunlight for the first few months till I needed to invest in some lights, I figured the midsummers sunlight should be better than any lights I could buy... Two or three months in I'm going to buy some lights for flowering, but for now I'm just wondering about the average yield of a 5' sativa plant, anybody wanna throw out some numbers? I'm a total newb at growing, but I'm doing everything to a T when I get started, nutes, soil, lights, everything by the book for the maximum yield and potency possible!

You can do everything by the book and still feck it up royally.

It takes skills and experience to acheive advertised yields.

Expect nothing and be happy with what you get. After a few grows you'll be able to estimate.

I wouldnt expect too much and would be willing to bet you have more problems than success and final yields will be minimal and not optmal potency/taste results.

Here's my last grow AK47 and PPP in hempy journal

just grow outside this summer and then use the money to buy some gear if you wanna grow inside. 3-16 oz per plant, there is really no way to guess.

Regarding lights, get them for veg, not bloom/flower. You could veg out some plants now indoors(not enough daylight hours outside) and then put them outside when they're ready to flower. You don't need a killer light either. A basic $120 400W MH lamp from HTG will do just fine.
