Everything I read before I started growing prepared me for a 6-8 week flowering period. However, reading through this site has alerted me to the fact that flowering takes more like 10 weeks.

Can anyone clarify this for me.

I was also prepared for a 6-8 week veg' cycle but the plants were ready after 24 days.

I know that flowering is genetic so the amount of time you veg' can not have anything to do with flowering times. It's just that after everything I read regarding this matter I thought I had time scales down.

well every strain is diffrent when it comes to flowering periods if you want to be sure of maturity get your self a digital camera set it up real close to your buds and try to get a pic of the trichromes up load it to your comp. and zoom in the more amber the trichrome is the more thc. What ive noticed with growing mostly indica plants is that the more amber the heavier the stone and with the same plants harvested say a week earlier the lighter the stone, not as narcotic with a cleaner headie buzz

Just found out that my strain takes 8 weeks to mature in flowering. Certain ones of my plants will take 9 weeks depending on who they follow more, mommy or daddy.

I am having the same problem with mine i just found out that i have black haze that is a 90 day flower and i was feeding them like a 60 day plant so i dont know were am at. two of mine plants are completely ready 90% red hairs but the bud looks premutual they look small what should i do.

theres really nothing you can do but harvest the ripe buds and let the rest mature

on some websites iv looked through they have said 6-8weeks. but i think it just depends if you nute them and look after them. =/

i never pay attention to what the breeders say because every plant is different
