2 young plants.Both germinated the same, planted the same date, watered the same, repotted the same day, recieved the same light etc. The only difference is...one was planted in Miracle Grow Organic...The other in Miracle Grow 3 month feeding type.

This proves TO ME that the soil with the nutes may be too strong for sprouts. Yup...learned it the hard way. I was thinking it was the light being too strong at first. I had to "x" that as the organic soil plant seems to be soing just fine.

Lesson learned on a 1st grow...Not saying the 3 month nute release is bad...but for a beginner...organic seems a safer bet. And Im sure a non-mg brand of organic soil would be even better.

I'm with you on this one if it's easie and safer then I'll try that route. Thank you for the info.
