Default container size & transplanting
hey guys. I was wondering if it's necessary to start out your plants in smaller containers and then transplant to bigger ones as it grows or if you can just start with a big pot and use the same one all the way through? pros/cons?

Its not necessary but it helps build a stronger root system. Cons of it would be transplanting it, its a hassle, plus stress the plant. If you transplant perfectly however, the stress is very minor, and transplanting solutions help alot.

I plant in cups then transplant into gallon containers. Finally into 3 gallon if indoors and 5 or 7 gallon if outdoors. So three transplants total.
