no gas on may 15th
Body: In April 1997, there was a "gas out" conducted nationwide in protest of gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight.

On May 15th 2007, every one should not go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices. Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon in most places.

The average car takes about 20 to 30 dollars to fill up now its taking 40 to 50 to fill up

if 73,000,000+ did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take $2,200,000,000.00 (that's BILLION) out of the oil company's pockets for just one day. let me know if anyone is going to do this there is lot of people on myspace that are backing it. gas will be 4.00 soon we have to do something now

well if you want to be all hippie about it get a scooter if not we should focus on the real issues of pot legaliztion an stopping this insidios war

don't we all just have to go to the pump and get that much more the next day, thereby doubling oil company profits on that day? just wondering.

well that took all the steam out of it for me. Im purchasing extra gas on the 15th just to sabotage your nafarious affair.

actually no. if you just drive less and conserve your gas for that day unless you HAVE to, then the oil companies will not make their profits back the next day it would take about a month(longer if the price does drop) to gain that money back, but hey it's still money that they lose

that's a better idea. stay home for a day. no driving.
