Thread: Is this plant dying?

This plant has been through the ringer and always come through strong. But in the last day it has taken a rapid turn for the worst. It is four weeks since germination.

History: It developed yellow spots on the top leaves after having soil on it while in the sun. But now the colored spots are crispy and not just discolored. Also, whatever is happening has spread to the bottom node leaves. I am using Schultz seedstarter plus with no other nutes. I have been watering it with purified water from the grocery store (have not yet checked ph...I know, bad boy). The last water it got was rain two days ago. I started on a windowsill, then moved it outside during the days, then moved it to its final growing space in a more shady area, but concealed from passerbys.

Today it has been in direct sunlight all day and looks worse.

I had 5 plants that looked the same as that after over 2 months, same size and everything

I would transplant it to a out door local and leave it to heal its self.
I think you are taking to much care of it....
And start some more seed's....

I might be. It looked a lot better this morning...for some reason the day in the sun today did it more harm than good.

This is the last remaining plant out of the first four I germed (this is my first grow ever). I then germed seven more (although they were weak looking seeds...kept the best nine for later after I f**k this up) and have four left with one doing very well.

I'm gonna water it like I did before the rain and see what happens. Just wondering if how it looks is indicative of something I should be doing...

keep the leaves clean you might have just burned them. good luck
