Question white paint

hi all. i know u are not supposed to use tin foil, to line the grow closet walls. what style white paint? i used satin.. i had a gollon laying around. i heard flat. is satin ok?

please help!

the specs to my grow box are 8 foot by 2 foot and 60 inchs high. i divided in half for flowering. 4 foot by 2 foot and 60 inchs high. the other half for veging has 2 shelfs. 4 foot by 2 foot and 37 inchs high. and for the little guys , 4 foot by 2 foot and 22 inchs high. for lights i have on the flowering side two four foot floce. tubes 40 watt each and 2 20 watt cfl. for veg. on the bottom shelf i have 4 20 watt cfl able to goto 22 inchs. on the top shelf i have 2 29 watt cfl and 2 20 watt cfl.. i will be growing in soil as soon as the seeds come. i tried the aerogarden lucky to get 2 females out of seven to reach maturity. anyone have any advice? i have no idea about nutrients. can someone help me please.

Hey man, we all need to start somewhere lol my first grow i just used matt emulsion paint and it worked fine,but if you ever get flush buy some Mylar it really makes a difference

Mylar is definately the way to go if u can. But sometimes u just gotta work with what ya got, u'll be fine as long as its white

is foil or white paint a must i have it on the top of my box but not the sides its a old metal closet with two doors and had a shelf that is converted i was just gonna use speed chrome (tinfoil tape)
