Default ever too late to take clones?
ok so the clones i took after about a week of flowering(to determin sex) didnt really survive, and my plants are now into their 4th week of flowering but i have no clones, my other thought was to reveg them after i harvest and then just keeping them in veg as moms, but id like to start some clones now so i dont have to wait a long time befor my next harvest

it is never too late but it gets harder with the age of the plant, and once it has been flowered it is damn hard to impossible to get the clone to root. also do such clones present some extra trouble once the grow roots, that they start to flower on their own without switching to 12/12 is just one thing.

also presents cutting clones now extra stress to your flowering baby! so increasing chance for less yield to possible death.

If they are in a bubble cloner you have a chance. One of the things I have found helpful is to rough up the bottom 1/8" or so, right below were you cut those bottom leaves off. Remember you are trying to clone a flowering plant. All of the old leaves and the flower must eventually die and be removed. What you are looking for is new green growth. And always flush flowering plants for a couple of days before attempting cloning. VV

what you mean rough it up? and ya im seeing a tiny bit of new growth on the one that got some roots, i took clips in kinda stages, the one with roots was about 2 weeks ago when they were only into flowering enough to show their sex, alot of those died so i took a few more, then those died so i took a few more, and stuck em all in the bubbler just three days ago

and any thoughts on how long i can leave rooted clones in a bubbler that has no nutes just water?

Default Not sure my clone will live
I am trying this for the first time, however, my "mother" is already budding.... I mean within a week or two, she will be ready.

I used rooting powder, not gel. Will the cuttings root?
