Hey, I got 2 cfl (11 watt 600lm) the nearest place that sells bulbs only has these... you think if i bought lots it'd work out? haha weird question.. lol Alsoo i got a soft white 50-100-150 3 way

go to walmart and get some bigger cfls

we don't have wal-marts in england sadly but the link from the FAQ (up there) shows cfls that small. so u don't think it really would work then?

It really depends entirely on what you're trying to achieve. If you want to start growing seriously with purchased seeds, you'll need to think a bit more 'upscale' in terms of your lighting requirements.

If you're experimenting with bagseed and simply trying to learn the ropes on something that doesn't matter if it dies or not, sure those fluorescents you have will get you on your way.

They're not the ideal colour temperature, you ideally need 6,400k for vegetative growth, not the 2,700k of the cfl's you have - and ideally you need more lumens - but they'll work for the moment, but later on you really will need to upgrade your lighting. They'll get you started though.

idn if this would work.. definatly ijnvest in somthing bigger... i grow outside so idn... but get a light that is at least bigger than the areo garden thing.,. becuase i knwo for sure that those lights will work...

One of those would defintely grow a plant if it was atleast 42w's but to flower you would need a little more power, how many does yours got?
