this country is 100v 50hz, wall sockets don't usually have a ground

Typically Black/Red = Hot; White=Neutral and Green= Ground. Notice the 3 wires going into the socket (pic 1) are black, white and green.... respectively Hot, neutral and ground.

I'm no electrition but if I didn't have a manual or diagram and I had to venture a guess (plus use my wire tester) I'd first try wiring the black and red together then to he other Black. Wire the white to the white and the Blue to the ground (or green)

Like I said... I'm not an electrician... but I don't think simple wiring jobs are all that hard. I think I paid $12 for my wire tester..... worth ever penny :)

Be careful and let us know how it turns out :D

here's the schematic, but its in japanese. I'll translate the best I can for you. some things I know, really know, but others are just guesses. I think the black and white go to the wall and red and blue go to the light. any ideas on +/- ? look see...

ok, gotta scrounge around and see if I have a plug. then I'll attach it to the ballast, and quick wire the whole thing to be sure that works before I install it into the grow room. brb and let you know how that works out...

alright, nearly finished. gotta suspend those wires along the ceiling, then add the other lights. the other lights are 2 500w MV bulbs. I know MV aren't very good, but they're ballastless bulbs, so an extra 1000w in a spectrum with more blue might be good for vegging, I hope.

Pics of HPS...
will post more after adding the 2 MV...

THANKS AGAIN FOR YOUR HELP
