Flowering First Grow... Wish Me luck!!!!

so i just started flowering about a week ago
out of my eight plants i started with, only two have survived as honest to goodness females
i thought there would be three but no, a hermie was in the mix
anyways, i have just been watching this website and learning for the past month since i started the grow
and wow, there has been so much learning
i made some early mistakes i'm still paying for (mostly pre-fertilized soil, damn that shit) but i think i'm starting to understand a lot more
which is what i wanted from this grow
anyways, i've read, and read, and read, and experimented on my plants
and i've been lucky enough to end up with what i have, cuz damn i was a broke boy starting all this out (i'm waiting until i have nice stuff for my next go round)

I did the grow, started under one flouro shoplight (2 40watt cool+ bulbs), pete pots, some 12.9.7 time release prefertilized soil (again, damn), transplanted four of eight plants into one of two big 18 gallon storage bins filled with the same soil, and made the same arrangement with my other four
got another shoplight just the same to cover more area
went into flower about 1 1/2 months in and ended up with two females
while vegging half the plants i topped and the other half i left alone
i got a female from each group and started to lst once recognized as females (only about four days ago)
i've been able to maintain good temps and humidity now (though for the first three weeks it was a nightmare - that ended up all being my fault in mistakes i had made)
now, i've fed them molasses, and will continue every other week, and will be adding cfls as side lighting soon (i have one now)

just felt like introducing myself as i've started becoming active in this forum
i have just posted pics in my gallery too if you care to take a gander

like i said i have read a lot and learned as much as i can and have even gone real in depths on some subjects (i get high and really interested in things, you know how it goes)
so i am now posting to learn even more and maybe even share some things i have learned

and again, just wanted to say hello

and this was terribly long
i ramble, sorry, usually i try and keep things succinct

haha, stay away from incandascents and i promise they'll probably turn out better... i almost fried everything in the begining with some enhanced spectrum 100 watt incandescents (found out they were worthless and just added heat and problems i was having started making sense) haha

not just pre fertilized... but the time release stuff... if your also adding in nutes... becareful not to burn your plants cuz there might be a lot of salts already built up from whats already in the soil... i didn't know this when i was buying soil... i was just like "cool! it feeds for nine months so now i don't need other fertilizers!" i ended up being wrong

mmk

so the two plants only yeilded about 1 oz.... kinda pathetic, but whatever, i'm not too upset... so much was learned from so many mistakes (omg, the bad things that happened, haha) i'm really quite happy with what i ended up with... one plant was sweet and fruity in a way i've never quite tasted before... the other one had very little taste... keep in mind, this was from some sticky bagseed that put me to sleep after a brief crazy spell... lol....

this bud did about the same, but was a lot better all around

the plants both dried in the same space but at different times...
