Default will these lights work
I may of found my self some lights which I could use for clones/mothers

These lights are not made for growing but but I need to know if I will be able to just put a plug on and they will work ?

Theres 2 of and they are 2ft by 4ft with 4 tubes in each, not to sure of the watt of these tubes but I am thinking I can just change them over to ones suited to growing ?

They are the kind of lights/tubes you would find in shops or offices

Any one know if these would work and what sort of power them may and would I need a ballast for them to run.

They look like these there getting rid of them at work....

Should be some writing on the lamps themselves.... can't tell from the pic if they're regular t-12 bulbs or t-8's..etc.

then grey gig might be the ballast. Figure out if there a cord comin out/going to the lamp//and another coming out going to a power source...etc. Might be as easy as putting a plug on and pluggin it in. (if you can do it right there and blow the breaker at work rather than home..all the better!) LOL

more info and mayber you'll have a firm answer...but they are floro fixtures and will probably work....maybe as is...maybe with a lamp chageover. dunno.

good luck

bt dt

They are fine I use shop lights for my clones. You might need new bulbs.
The ballast is in the housing wire a plug and go.

yes they will work.. it will be key to secure them very well so that they cant fall on your plants... many manygorwers drop things and damge their plants.. if you drop those light fixtures on your plants they will wipe outyour entire garden... LOL

you need to keep those lights very close to your plants.. like just a few inches (1-4)

Darkness can not exist where there is light
