i dont give a shit if you wanna grow in your mom's house, in fact i say go for it! but don't get caught.

you are a teenager so you will be sloppy, you will make a mistake and you will get caught by your mom no matter how discreet you try to be, i'd bet a rather large sum of money on it.

but if you're gonna get caught you might as well grow a smokable quantiy of bud. seriously a 23 watt light may not actually support a plant through flowering, like not only will you maybe get enough bud for ONE or TWO shitty bowls tops but the plant will probably just die.

now let's look at this practically.

there are ways to do this stealthily, i am a grown ass man and i still have to hide my grow (i have roommates and i live in an apt so i have to be discreet when the pest control guy comes to spray and for apt inspections etc.) so i took apart a dresser and sealed it up added an HPS light and ventilation.

check through the site check the areas on how to build a stealth grow box you can take just a rubbermaid tub like you would use to store stuff put 4-6 of those 23w cfl's in there with a little ventilation and some mylar and you can grow a plant or two no problem. actually a grower on this site uses three large rubbermaid tubs stacked together with 6 x 42 watt CFL's and he pulls out 4 oz's a harvest.

just get a simple stealthy box that you can put in your closet and throw some clothes over that your mom won't be suspicious of, make it light sealed and low noise.

all you need is soil water light, and patience. just remember that the plant is going to get a minimum of 1 or 2 ft tall, and that's if you start flowering after a week or two. you can prune it to make it shorter and bushier as well. that's the cool thing about cannabis, you can grow it really stealthy if you are creative.

you probably aren't creative, you probably won't listen to any of this because you're a kid. who cares, what i tell you is true, do what i say.

oh and BTW dont' tell ANYONE about your grow. you've probably already told your 3 or 4 pot smoking buddies about it. loose lips sink ships.

cant you just 100% light seal when your growing in, and get a hps or somthing?

run wires through the bottom of whatever your growing in through the carpet, if you have hard wood or tiles then idk lol

also i got a question. in a square foot there needs to be somewhere around 3000 lumens, so if i make a small box (15cm by 20cm) thats like about half a square foot wudnt it be ok to use 1 1600 lumens florecent bulb? if 1 isnt enuff then fine 2, but thats like extra isnt it? the box is around 35 cm tall. please halp. You know absolutely nothing about electricity or its inherent dangers as your own post proves. Do not attempt to make your light work off a battery, it will not ever work without a power inverter, period. You are a kid who thinks he can grow huge amounts of ganja with a 23 watt bulb? Im not being a dick bro, but its fucking obvious from your post where you thought you could just take "random" wires and hook it all up to a battery and grow Pounds of pot with 1 bulb, that you don't know even the very basics of electricity. Im only looking out for your safety. don't want the headlines to read" 15 year old electrocutes self and burns parents home down killing 4, news at 11". Not that your going to get killed from a battery, but the inverter could sure fuck you up.
