    Default Ballast Question

    Hi in another thread someone who answered my question got me thinking and i just had a look at my ballast and all it says on them is sodium/hailide
    so which bulbs can i use in them ?
    i dont want to go burning my house down

    any hps of metal halide bulb, how strong is your ballast?

    Rob you are a star ,the ballasts are all 400w and i have 3 son-t plus 2 sodium hailide and 1 mh
    so are you saying i can use any of them in the ballasts?

    any 400w bulb bro, ive never used a stronger bulb then my ballast but i would guess that it would not be as bright? haha

    Managed to get 3 lights and ballasts all 400w ,6 bulbs and a propogating light for £50 off good old ebay
    I thought it was a bargain
