yep, my seedlings are acting weird I got a few pictures of the one that has it the worst.








As you can see one of the leaves is already dieing, why is this? Do I have my lights too close? they are 3-4'' away from the seedlings.

PH your Water?

My ph in the water is at 6.6, it shouldn't be the problem.

What kind of light are you using? Your soil looks like it's loaded with wood chips which is bad for the roots, especially developing seedling roots.

What kind of soil, How much added perlite? Lights Type Wattage? Space growing in, Believe it or not freshly painted or linoleum, can cause issue> Ventilation? Give up the details. Nutes if any

OOOH I missed the big pics (blonde had fire wall on high) woody soil, wood holds moisture moisture on roots causes root rot and that yellowing of the leaves. Risk a transplant to real soil or they wil die get all the wood away and get real soil add perlite plant em HOPE and PREAY

I sterilized some soil from outside by baking it for an hour and mixing in some miracle grow potting soil. I have a 42 watt cfl and 2 27 watt cfls on each side of my two plants. I have been supplying them with direct CO2. I have had to water it twice a day because the lights dry out the soil to a point where all of the soil the root of the plant occupies is dry.

The Potting soil is better than the outside if that was the outside with the wood.
Perlite is cheap and it stops soil compaction, and allows roots to get oxygen

No it can't be the soil or wood because I had another plant in here for 3 weeks before it got fried by a loose light. That plant was nice and green. Also my potting soil has tiny wood pieces already in it.

I said the same thnig but then I tried MG Poting MIX and Perlite 50/50 never had a sprout problem again, and I killed like 10 of em before figuring it out.
