hello everyone, I'm having some problems with my plant. She started out great, but I have now noticed some drying/browning of the leaves. I've posted a few pictures to see. The leaves are also curling downward on the edges. it almost looks like dying along the outer edges of the leaf. its being grown in miracle grow soil, under 10 42 watt CFL's. Is this a possible over watering or over feeding? I appreciate any help, thanks in advance.

how much are you feeding it?


it looks like classic nute burn


if your feeding it, and its in miracle grow as well thats the problem

Thanks for your help. I will go a little longer between waterings, and cease feeding it for now, and see how it responds. Much appreciated.

no worries
from my experience plants in miracle grow soil don't need any nutes untill flowering

if it gets any worse you may have to transplant it into some neutral soil

How long do you think it will take to recover? Also, if it doesn't start to recover at a certain point, how difficult is it to transplant? Thanks for your replies.

Also of note is that chlorine in tap water causes brittle plants.
Always breathe your water for at least 24 hours before use,48 hours preferably

thanks natmoon, I have been letting my water sit out for a couple days before I water. Its starting to look a little better, so hopefully I won't have to transplant it. Should I have to do that, does that stunt the plants growth at all?
