You have to wonder if Foxfarm designed this system with us in mind, or are people really that fanatical about growing tomatoes indoors too. I mean I do enjoy a tomato sandwich every now and then, but damn...

Foxfarm:
They've jumped on the bandwagon that GH and (then) Advanced Nutrients got going w/ plant specific nutrient and light schedule programs. I like Foxfarms organic products..Ocean forest..Happy Frog granular (this combo is all you need for early veg/veg), and Big Bloom...although they would do themselves a favor to develop a stronger bloom formula! There's also a proven (cannabis) grow formula using their Peace of Mind Flower food mixed with the soil at the transplant when you go into flower that then uses plain water to flower/finish. No other additives are used and the fert ramps up and winds down in 2 months..just what is needed. Grow Big regular or hydro and Tiger Bloom are good/fairly clean ferts..but I think many folks see the purty labels and THINK they're buying organics... whereas those 3 are not. (Tiger Bloom is "organic based"..which means it has small amounts of natural ingredients laced into a petro-chemical base.) The Chaching and Beasties scare me cus'a the name alone..but then..'cus of the fuckin astronomically high fert numbers they contain. Nothing new there, folks..it's a MAINLINE dose of chemmies that basically STRESSES your plant into finishing up and maybe causes em to turn purty colors from the lockout/toxicity of it all. BC "Beasties" comes to mind. Forced buds..full of chems that pop and crackle when ya spark em and leave a chunk of hard "ash" in the bowl rather than a white ash. California's "pretty picture on the label to entice the kiddies", *Miracle Gro for tomatos blend*. Again..just a big whap of toxicity to cause MOST folks/noobs trouble and lockout from salt poisoning. to each their own...but slow and steady is the best way and "quick" never works. good luck bt dt |

Been there man im not trying to say you dont know how to grow, or anything like that man. I am just saying that if Videoman uses it, and produces good results, then I trust that. Have you even tried using it? I mean it sounds like you have done research and you know what your talking about, but have you ever tried? and as for chemicals thats why you stop using nutes for the last weeks before harvesting.

i would warn against that. and i would offer the point of videoman has grown 1 single time. You will have to accept Been theres responce as a well spoken truth. a rookie mistake will cause burn or lockup resulting in loss of yeild. if you want to help ripen your flowers GH makes a ripening formula 0.10.10 this is a mainline shot in its self. peace |
