While i have your guys attention i guess ill aska nother question. Im growing this pot of gold, and im about two weeks into it, and my star plant is only about 5 inches tall with a few multi layerd leaves, but no branches... I have two others, one abuot a week and one five days, that are only 2 1/2 inches with 4 leaves.... Im guessing this is smaller then normal?

Could this be a result of over watering?

If not, the only other thing i vcan think of is pH....

Oh yeah, and my pots are massive, at least 3 gallon, probably 4-5 gallon though

Read the guide, it'll tell you everything you need to know from start to finish. Read it and you should be able to see where you have gone wrong. It doesn't sound like over-watering to me it sounds like not enough light, or the light is too far away, you'll definitely need to ph the soil too.

2 weeks in? I think you are doing fine, I can't remember how big mine were at that stage. Which really is something to think about. Next time i'm going to take meticulous notes. So long as the leaves aren't wilting or changing colour, I can only imagine that there isn't anything wrong.

Have you ph'd the soil? What about plant food?

No i have not pH'd the soil YET, i still need to buy a meter of some sort, but the damn 1500 watt ran me alot of bills... I know this is all over the forum, but what is the cheapest yet reliable pH meter available?

Do you know how often to feed Pot Of Gold? I fed them a little bit 2 days ago and was not planning on watering them until a week later.. Also, i didnt feed them too much for the fear that at their new, small state, i would over feed them or somthing of the sort...

Thanks for all your help

Litmus paper is not very accurate. Trying to determine ph from colour is a hard thing to do, especially that 5.5 mark. It's a complete nightmare. Digital meters fellas... the only way to go.
