Before you talk NPK levels, you need to decide organic or chemical.
NPK levels in chemical nutes will be much stronger than organic.
You see with chemicals, you'll be feeding the plant, and destroying the soil, while organical nutes, feeds the soil, (gently) and the plant feeds off the soil.

While the choice is clearly yours, you need to decide that first.

Below is a chart from a book titled "marijuana Growers Hand Book", by Ed Rosenthal.
If you use the maximum ratios that the chart shows, you'd be using:

Germination 15-10-7.5
Fast Growth or Veg. 25-8-20
Pre-Flowering 10-15-10
Flowering 5-15-7.5
Seeding 20-10-15




Of course you'll have an impossible time finding those exact ratios. But remember, for the flowering formula, for instance, you could buy a 10-30-15 and it's the same N-P-K ratio as the 5-15-7.5, but just twice the strength. Just use ½ strength.
I believe the Hydro Farm Grow & Bloom to have the closest N-P-K ratios to the one's stated above.
The grow is 20-6-16 and the Bloom is 10-30-18. You can see how the ratios fall almost perfectly into Ed's scheme of ratios. If the Bloom were a bit lower in potassium and you used ½ strength, the numbers would line right up almost perfectly.

Well personally..
I always choose natural over man made, so id have to say organics.. I just dont know how comfortable I am handling manure.

You don't have to dive into the deep end buddy.

Earth juice is one manufacturer of organic nutes, foxfarm is organic based.

These are just a couple to get ya interested. I use the foxfarm lineup and have been very pleased, it is very easy to use, a 6 year old can do it.
