out of my 10 seeds. Only 8 of them germinated. And only 4 actually sprouted. 2 died in under 3 days. Earlier I left my plant under 2 CFL light and I went out. When I gave back it withered and gonna die soon. Gah growing is hard

You're burning them with the heat. Next time dont put them so close or let them dry out.

it didnt touch the light. I use CFL so it wasnt that hot, so I don tknow. Maybe uuhh it wasnt used to the CFL because I left it outside for 3 days just regular sun. Today it was raining so I brought it inside for extra 6 hours.

growing is like fucking for the first time, you get all excited find out tricks froms friends but when u do it its over way to fast and your left with a feeling that you could have done better. Keep trying,use no fertilizer till they are 6 inches big keep them moist and the light not too close and keep a thermostat near them so u know that ur not going over 80f. You feel bad now but ull get horney again we all do

I don't know how many times i have to say this, if your growing indoors.
KEEP IT INDOORS!
Taking the plant outside will only stress it and f%ck it up.
So do yourself a favor, get better lights and keep that girl inside!

Naw, don't give up. I'm on my second grow and have done more wrong than right! I doubt I'll see any smoke from this one either.. But, I'm leaps and bounds ahead of my first attempt and if I keep progressing at the rate I am, it won't be long. I owe that progress to the cool folks on this website and having read the GrowFAQs cover to cover so to speak. Hang in there, I know it's a bitch! But, I promise it will get better and easier. The grow journals are a good place to look through as well. I've only had one problem that couldn't be answered in either the GrowFAQs or the journals and when I asked... There was tons of help coming my way! Careful though, several old-timers on the site like to give the 'freshmen' a little bit of a hard time... But, it's all in good spirits. I got discouraged at one point as well... and I'm glad that I stuck with it. Think you will be too.

As for the seed to plant ratio... I started with 16 seeds and now have 6 plants. First time around, started with 24 and ended with 0.

its pretty much all about trial an error. my first grow was a nightmare but because i read so much on here i knew what my mistakes were and the second grow went ok.

On my thrid now, and it hasn't started too well admittedly! but thats all my lazy ass fault. I think they r going to be alright with a bit of luck!
