Default Clones cut from budding female plant - Bag Seed
I'm hoping that someone with experience can take a
look at these photos and give me an opinion of the
long term viability of these clones is/are.

I'm a first time grower, that started some seeds back
in the spring. Out of the three plants that made it
'flowering' only one was female. Since it was my only
plant, and I didn't know what sex it was, I had to wait
until it started to bud before taking cuttings from it to
get some clones.

The clones seem stunted and are a few weeks old
This where your experience comes in, I have 4 questions
to ask of you, they are:

(1) Do they look 'normal' for clones that are 3-4 weeks old?

(2) The newly grown top leaves seem rounded and un-like
the normal pointy, jagged ones that were on the original cutting.
You can see the original leaves on the bottom of the clones.

(3) It it a waste of time trying to get these to vegetation
state again after the clones were cut from an early budding female?

(4) Notice that the lower (older) leaves have the 'crystals' on
them, but the newly grown (rounded) leaves do not. Does this
mean that the plant is going back to vegetation state?

Thanks for your opinion(s) I hope i get more than one person
to weigh in with their opinion.

Well they look like they are surviving, although thats not to say they are in their best shape either.I dont think cutting them from a budding mother was a good idea, because if you look at the nodes on those pictures you will see a small female flower. That means these plants are struggling to both produce flowers and to grow foliage and therefor making them weak. I would suggest only taking clones from a vegging mother ( i.e. been in 18 - 24 light for 2 weeks), then they can make a good root system and focus their energy on getting strong. As for now see how they do they might strengthen up!

the round leaves are the first to come.. the next ones should look more normal.. iv'e been readin about this a lot lately.the crazy branching that comes from a budded clone shoul make you happy in the long run.. just takes more time.
