    Default Should I trim?

Have been budding plant for about 3 weeks now and buds are starting to come in, alot on the top but not really any lower so was wondering if i should cut some of the big leaves off at the top so more light can get through to the lower leaves and buds. Also will cutting the leaves yield more?
    thanks

add lower lighting. some cfl's maybe. you are to far into flower to be trimming tops. and i never trim leaves unless they are dead.
