What's up People?
I have the Homebox XS that is about 3ft by 3 ft I am currently growing with CFL's for my first grow but It takes long I am tired of adjusting the lights etc. on HTG garden supply they have some great hps grow sysems there isn't much difference in $ for the 250wattHPS and the 400watt HPS I was wondering which one would be better for such a small space. I would love to buy the 400 watt but I dont want it to be too much for the area and create too much heat. Is there a big heat difference between the 400 and the 250? I already get alot of heat from the multiple cfls so i figured it would be better with a 250 of 400hps at the top of the tent. Any suggestions? hurry up i get paid thursday lol

Well since the 400 is almost double the wattage of the 250... its safe to say that the 400 will produce almost double the heat.

Yup air cooling is the way to get it done with a 400 in a small space. Get a cool tube or some type of air cooled hood and you will be in business. If ya need a vent fan on the cheap check out a stanly blower. I use one in a similar size space with a 400 and run like 4 degrees over ambient room temperature.
