I've stumbled on your impressive pics and I must say they are attractive looking plants, I can see why you love them. I just wondered what seeds you use? Maybe I'm being ridiculous but although I'm an ugly looking sod myself, I don't know if I could fall in love so easily with ugly plants!! When I look at my girls every day I'd prefer them to look attractive and I must say I've seen plants that look horrific. Having said that I guess the smoke quality is a lot more important, perhaps they look prettier when young I don't know.

Looking for comment from any of you fanatics out there and while I'm at it, another query is bothering me. I know of course you'll get the pong from smoking indoors, but I seem to have picked up that there is an odour coming with the growing process, how bad is that? I live in a fairly roomy flat and there are several areas I could use to grow, but extractor fans are not an option cos I can't do structural alterations. Any comments please?

A simple and easy way is to vent, and vent into a charcoal filter. They work great I have not had time to make a step by step but you can make them or buy them, for security and peace of mind they are well worth it.

The odour only gets worst better get on top of that asap.
