Default ph for soil really important?

ive just started growing in an allmix soil from my local grow shop with added guanno. is it as important 2 tweak water and soil ph in an organic grow as it is in hydro?so ive heard? i live in scotland i think the water should be ok?

you should always check the ph of your water!

thanks man will do can u use a soil ph meter with 2 prongs on it to measure ph in water aswell?
