So im growing two different plants and one is being the biggest bitch. Anyways some of the buds on it have kind of dried out, the hairs were originally white but turned red now and the leaves are dying and drying out. Should i clip those buds off to help other buds bloom out. And if so where do i clip them at? Like as close to the stem as possible?

Thanks

sounds like the end of the cycle has come or very close. your plant probably will not produce much more growth, how long have you flowered and what kinda lights foods and enviroment do you have

well its kind of a odd situation. We got two plants from a friend that had already been growing for a while (im not sure on the exact time) but the stalks were about 8-10 inches tall and already had buds sprouting. We got them in mid Febuary and had been using nut water up untill about a week ago. Now were just using regular tap water (but i adjust the ph). Anyway the plant thats drying up has barely any buds on it as it is. I think its a white rhino strain because when the buds do sprout the hairs are all white, but now they have turned all red.
As for the grow room its downstairs in a little cabinet, with three differnt lights. One is a HG 20W 5000K light thats about 4 inches away from the plants on the side of the cabinet. The other light is on the other side of the cabinet (about 4 inches away also) that is a Lights of America F17T8 GL (156). Then we have one lightbulb (GrowNShow) centered at the top of the cabinet.

Hope this helps some, its our first grow and instead of starting from the beginning we were literaly brought two plants already in development. Thanks

Im thinkin now it might have been a ph problem with the water. Like i said were using regular water now and i fill up a gallon jug then adjust the ph. but yesterday i rechecked the ph level and it had rose back up to the low 7's. So maybe this is my problem, but as for the buds that are dried and dead should i just clip those off to make room for other buds to grow there?
