It should be coming up out of the ground and have some false leaves already if it's been a week. Do you have a picture of what yours look like?

Given the proper lighting, mine look like pilot wings, hopefully only an inch from the soil.

this was taking yesterday so they're slightly bigger but only by maybe a half an inch.. I think they may be streching due to improper light but I Can't tell.. Should the leaves be much bigger than this, cause the leaves have only grown maybe a MM since yesterday

i think they look fine, the closer you get your light to them, the less they'll stretch. what kind of light?

Get some 42w daylight CFL's. And if you're looking for an HPS check online like eBay they have them cheaper. You can check my plants in my journal too if you want, they're at day 9 from seed.

Mine are 3 27 watt, two are 5500k and one is 6500k in the middle. Will switch out to 3 2700k for flower.

You do know that HPS is preferred for flowering, while mh is for veg, right? I'd think regular fluros would work as well, for vegging, probably better than the HPS. You can get a HID (Hps/Mh) fixture that runs both, or either.
