watering leaves

Hi,

Just a quick question:

I have my grow on 24/0 and have read not to water the leaves when the lights are on, what do I do when they are never off!?

water yr leaves? do you mean foliar feeding? personally i dont bother with it, i used to foliar with alg-a-mic but now i dont bother i see no difference in growth or plant health, but if thats what you wana do then it shouldnt be done with lights on, why not go with 18/6 for your veg cycle? its better for your plants and saves a bit of electricity, then you can foliar just as lights go out or 15mins or so before lights on. but theres no need to water your plants leaves, thats what roots are for.

no that will be fine. they may even grow faster, more happens during the dark cycle anyway in terms of upwards growth and root growth. everything in nature has a rest/sleep period, weed plants are no different.

1st things 1st what lights are you useing cfl or mh, if cfl spray away if mh or hps raise the light up as high as you can and spray lower it when the leaves are dry and don't spray your light the problem with spraying with your lights on is the water drops on the leaves could burn em but if ur using cfls it wont happen if your using hid's just raise it up if your ventilation is proper you will dry those leaves in no time......... or do what londoner said it all works oh and if you spray your hid it will explode on ya

srry to hear that you gotta be real careful its no good to do that and you may think your cool but then you go to spray under the leaves and bam your spraying directly into your light never did it but imagine hot glass in your eye would hurt

yea i know mate, me mate had to have his eyelids stretched open with those clamps they use at the hosp to remove the tiny piece of glass, it wasnt that bad but could have been alot worse if the glass had punctured his eyeball, which luckily enough it didnt. thats one of the reasons i like my 600 enclosed in its cooltube, but i dont spray anything onto my plants anyways.......
