no, the sea of green technique requires you to be rotating new plants into your flowering room(you need to have two rooms for SOG)everey 2 or 4 weeks so that you also harvest every 2 or 4 weeks.You will also need a mother in your veg/clone room to give you a healthy supply of clones for your rotation..so if you want to use fish tanks for SOG, first you would have to make it an aerated bed by using a layer of expanded clay on the bottom and pvc pipe in each corner to allow drainage and then evaporation up through the pipes(this is also a soma bed), this will solve the drainage problem,but for SOG you will need more fish tanks to keep a rotation......if you want to use the fish tank DONT try sog make a small soma bed and grow some dank buds, i make 40 gallon soma beds ad grow 2 plants in them, they get huge and have a heavy yield having that 20 gallons each and all the space to grow roots, also the design of the soma bed allows lots of air to be brought down to the roots by the evaporation of the water up the pipes, it pulls the air down the soil..it's a passive air flow system.

u gotta have the right lights,mainly ones used to support coral will make the bud go crazy,they love the blue end of the spectrum, and those lights for coral fishtanks have lots of it=)
