Ok, here's a quick one for you, what's the difference between schwag (that may be a colloquialism from my neck of the woods meaning low quality) and kindbud? Is it a difference of strain type, growing methods or what?

Strain is usually not the issue, it is almost always due to growing methods and packaging. If its schwag that usually means it has gone through many different hands and has been packaged for shipment at least once is it's lifetime, this breaks trichromes and leads to degradation of the final product. Thats why most of the better/best bud is locally produced and sold in quantity... at least where I'm from.

Secondly, if I were to take schwag seeds, sprout them, and remove the males before they could pollinate females, I could have a product better than what I'd originally started with correct?

I ask because I think growing that shit would be a great way for me to practise before ordering up some real nice seeds...eventually I'd like to get into breeding plants, maybe have a strain named after me....God Bless America

You really cant say how easy it is going to be to grow without knowing the strain. But probably pretty easy. Peace
