Default Help on PH levels..?

Ok... i have been using my horse water troff(not sure on the spelling) for the last several months on my plant being grown outside, but recently i checked its PH levels and they were at about 8. i know thats too high so i was wondering would it be better to add something to make it around 6? if so what would what something be? also i thought maybe that since its already had that exact same water for the last 6 months maybe i should just keep on giving it the same thing? i don't want to shock the plant, its looking decent atm.. thanks guys! i love this siiiiiittteeee

Honestly in my very limited knowledge with soil and just going by what i have seen and read I am going out on a limb and say to not do anything to your plants. They have come this far and yes they look like they could have used a good nute and a PH adjustment but you are on the home stretch and i would not change anything. Just make a note for next year from the feed back from this year and change accordingly.

Good luck i am sure someone with more experience with soil will help out.

i didn't ask if they are in the ground or in pots? If they are in pots you could adjust the PH with no issues. In the ground they look like they are doing ok so doing all the work might not be worth it.

funny when i saw the post for some reason i thought about when i grew up on a farm and all the water troughs on it and all the water I carried. If your in pots PH the water its easy and your plants will love you for it. If your going to do that remember to mix your nutes THEN PH your water.

They are doing great for such a high pH. Color wise, most of them are a healthy green, maybe some high N.
