after blending the first bowl, we saw we needed another bowl of dried pot to add to the blender. What the heck, I had plenty of leaves.

crushing up more leaves, we did use a few FRESH large shade leaves. The stems were oily and juicy so we threw them in, and we used one nice dried bud too

FIRST, THANK YOU VERY MUCH VIDEOMAN, PRAISE AND THANKS, PRAISE AND THANKS. I wish I could share it with you.
I let an old freak friend vist and see my grow and we got to talking about old days and buying hash and hash oil in Virginia bay that came in from the Navy back in the late 70's and early 80's. So I remembered seeing Videoman40's advise about not throwing away trim and shade leaves. So we came here, and read up on how he said to do it.
1, we did not use the male leaves, we will try it later but I wanted to be sure we were really making real hash oil. 25 years ago we paid $25 to $40 for one of those little bittty bottles of oil. We used to get the BLACK (heat processed) and red honey oil, we was told the natural evaporation method .

so I had kept the droppings and I had trimmed one plant of about 20 major large oily leaves, that had dried, so I got the shoe box of leaves, and we already had the coffee filter (I highly recommend it instead of the paper ones) and we had a brand new bottle of 91 octane alcohol.
The pics tell the tale.
ADVISE: we did not make a mess and we were stoned and had a few beers. BUT we were very careful as my wife was watching us. LOL
AFTER the processing in the blender for one minute and a half, we wnet back tot he sink to pour it. Any drips will stain very fast, very fast. The white rubber lid on the blender is green, we are now soaking it in bleach.
The drips stained the stainless steel sink !
We used about more than one but less than 2 ounces of dry fluffy leaves.
We used all the alcohol, which was too much.
My wife was baking cupcakes for the church, (yea, christians smoke herb!)
and she was also going to cook a pizza later. So we took about three or 4 tablespoons of the liquid and put it in a very small stainless steel pan, and left it on the warm over. 4 hours later we had a gooeey mess in our pan.
I didnt have a pipe so we got a empty toilet paper tube and some tin foil.....you know how.......and we got about three tremedous hits each.
I could not beleive the taste, and the hits were AWESOME. We hit it in the kitchen, standing up, and I had to sit down! Dizzy, and colors and giggley ! It was a great DIFFERENT high! Within an hour, my friend passed out.

WoW, that's great. Glad you had some fun. I remember the honey oil from way back than in the early 80's. I went to see the beach boys in new jersey, and we got so loaded on honey oil there, it was some potent stuff.

thanks, videoman, I just answered your PM. AND thank you very much for the posted advise on making the oil. I am so very glad we didn't use a paper filter. I may have to buy my wife a new blender if the Clorox don't work. AND I ruined one small stain;ess steel pan. little price to pay tho, I bet a I get a mess of oil, it is still evaporating.

I chopped a male today and lost another plant (sex unknown) 5 days ago. I also have a few clippings of some yellowed leaves. Can I make hash oil with these?
