how do i pinch or top a plant???

    Talking how do i pinch or top a plant???

    i hear all the time people talking about pinching three plants..... what are they on about.
    is it the same as topping.....
    and how do i topp plants lol

    pinching the stalk will slow top growth.

    toppping, or cutting off the top, will cause multiple tops.

    The reason to top a plant is to grow more buds in flowering, correct? Since the plant will be wider and more buds will form. So how about someone who is doing LTC or TLC(lol)? Would the plant be better off without topping??

    I'm confused as to what I should do in a small indoor grow room.

    The think the debate on yeild vs topping or not is a never ending one. I am limited to roughly 48 inches and have topped them once.

    wall hear when your plants grow thar 7th set of leafs just pinch it at the stem then thay split and 2 stems will grow instad of 1 i hope you grow kick ass weed man

    So i believe the debate is what is pinching? and what is topping? 2 different things entirely i currently am doing a sisde by side with the pinching. some strains love it some hate it topping works better. supposedly the theroy is pinching it ( pinching stem lightly till you hear or feel a pop) will make brances stronger (because it has to repair itself) and send the auxons down to lower branches ( slow top groth and bake bushier plant) from my experiment blue dream topping is better sour d topping better bbk and bbs pinching or snapping did better theese are the only strains ive done it on. hope this helps some
