hey there all my fellow stoners,

here's alittle update on my cfl closet grow. i'm on day 6 of flowering and have lots of little buds forming. hardly any smell. but some of the leaves are curling up. any suggestions?

curling upwards on the leaves usually means its lighting issue.

on one of your pics it looks as though it may be a little close to your cfl. this may be causing your leaves to get to hot and curl.

im not the most experienced but from what i have learned it looks like the problem.

I agree with the above and possible over fertilization. They look very dark green. Well when flowering begins is when you ween them off the nitrogen so that should clear that up and you might have a little bit of a magnesium deficiency which is common in soiless/soil. The only bad thing is that nutrient supplements with Mag seem to either raise or lower the PH oddly enough. If you can find a neutral one then let me know. Your plant looks nice and that bulb is great.

Hey mate, how many CFL's are you using? How much were they / where did you get them from?

thanx peeps. i have two 250watt cfl's in there, one red one blue spectrum. the curling is on lower leaves so its not the lights. i have stopped using the ferts and i'm now using molases and tomato feed. is this any good? as this is what i was advised

iv heard that the standard tomato feed is fine to use for flowering. a relative uses it and his stuff he grows is always nice.

im sorry i cant help anymore with the curling of your leaves. it will be nutrient related i guess.

brought them on ebay. one cost £35 with reflector and the other was £29. good luck

on about the sixth node the leaves are curling inwards. i'm on day 8 flowering and apart from that all seems well. can anyone help?

dont get the tomato feed on the plant,leaves will wilt, go brown and fall off, apart from that they like it, molasses makes it taste nice, spray water and molasses sometimes.
