If you ever get a chance drive up to Cuba. The mountains are beautiful. It's only about an hour outside of Albuquerque. I have several friends that live up in the mountains. I love staying with them. We go biking/hiking all the time. There is a lot to see in New Mexico. In Chimayo there is the Santuario and El Morro and it's inscriptions. Then you can visit the Sandias (which is closer) and take the tram up the mountain. Santa Fe is pretty much a tourist trap now but well worth visiting. I would recommend Taos over Santa Fe. Welcome to the state. ¡Asi Es Nuevo Mexico!
