I think as the program gets older and there is success the peole of NJ will be able to vote and change things to make the program less restrictive. Cause lets face it...if this model works, evry State going forward with their MMJ will try to follow the strict NJ MMJ model. Atlest thats my thoughts
I'm going to be truly frightened if I hear that he starts to exercise & diet! I'm watching you, Christie!
LOL........ He's probably watching you too.
New Jersey........home of high taxes, terrible traffic conditions, polluted air and water and now 10% THC pot. Don't hate the messenger- my wife's from there, I lived there for 12+ years and owned 3 mall businesses along with doing some jail time for growing many years ago. A terrible state that deserves the worst of everything.
I stand corrected: I like their diners and the Jersey shore, since I spent my summers there growing up. I now only go back for funerals!
ok, don't everyone attack me all at once, but i think mmj is bullshit, especially the plan christie has put together.. why on earth can't they just do the right thing and legalize weed instead of playing the medical game?? it's semantics at it's worst, and pisses me off to no end..
i'd never say weed doesn't help people, not my point at all.. my point is that i'd bet a large percentage or people who have mm cards don't really have a medical need for it, and simply get a card to grow their own, and don't say effin medicine either, it's fucking pot ffs...
idk, i'm also not a big fan with registering with the state and giving them my info.. with nj it's a bit better imo because you still can't grow shit on your own.. i will never understand registering with the state and telling them that you're growing, but what do i know??
this whole mmj thing is stupid, and i just wish that marijuana would be rescheduled and no longer be a class 1 drug.. how the feds can say that weed is worse for people then heroin and coke both of which are schedule 2 drugs, is beyond me...
i'll hold my hand on my ass and wait to grow a skin graft, which will probably happen before a reschedule.... yah, mmj.. not..
yah, thank god i'm not the only stoner left in this world.. sometimes after being online and reading magazines such as high times, i often wonder.. high times gets under my skin the most i think of the lot, as they have high right in their name and now like to pretend no one gets stoned and everyone is a med patient, which we all know is not the case.. whatever happened to the underground an counter culture?? i'll never know i guess..
i also tend to think that mmj is hurting the cause of full on legalization as a lot of people look at mmj and see lots of stoners using mmj as a front to simply quasi legally possess and grow their own pot... this gives pot a big black eye imo, and isn't helping full on legalization at all, which is my goal, not mmj...
i had never known so many 20 some people were so sick in this world till mmj was legalized in a few states.. i'd like to think i have some integrity and am not going to lie simply to be able to grow under the protection of state law..
I'm probably over simplifying this but I feel as if (most?) everyone just fell in line with the medical argument to further "the cause". Which is no big deal. I'll sign whatever ya put in front of me for the legalization of marijuana. But then they started believing it. Not to say that people don't use marijuana medicinally with great results but it is a lot less than what I see online etc etc. I mean shit. I know like a hundred people locally who i grew up with that smoke pot. None of them do it for medical purposes. They'd surely sign up for a med card though if they ahd too. But c'mon. Don't call me a "patient" and dont expect me to call you "doctor". You got strawberry cough? Sweet, gimme 10 ounces! lol
I understand though. You can't further something with the argument "Hey I like to get fucked up!" - You also can't try to sell the medicinal value and then when no one is around act normal, ya know?
What none of the stoners realize is they will always be seen as a bunch of stoners trying to get a malicious drug legalized. It'll get legalized eventually anyway I believe. But this is just the fun before it all. Lol.
Ulm... What? Lol. I hate posting when I'm boned! hahahha
well, here's something shocking azi, i agree with you... again... lol.. i might see things a lil differently, but for the most part, i'd be splitting hairs for sure..
idk though if mj will every be fully legalized.. imo, too many people and corporations make way too much money off of the fact that mj is illegal.. judges, cops, lawyers, prisons, etc, etc, etc.. the list is endless for the people who would lose a lot of money if they simply legalized weed tomorrow.. and we all now that money talks in this country, which doesn't really look too good for mj's legalization...
i could be wrong, and for once i really hope i'm wrong, but i doubt it.. at least not in my lifetime..
