Default Risks of going over plant limits in Nevada?

I'm curious about the risks of going over plant limits in Nevada?

I have heard that if your grow ends up seen by the local authorities, that you can have your entire medical crop confiscated, along with nullification of your medicinal marijuana license, as well as possession charges. I'm not planning on showing them my crop, trust me, but I also cannot risk the loss of my medical marijuana due to adding, let's say, 3 additional clones.

Anyone on here ever had their license tested? Other than possession while driving?

Dunno about Nevada, but here in Washington there have been a couple cases where the medical defense was denied due to being over the plant limit. If you can prove your condition requires more than it is possible to still use the medical defense, however you'll have the burden of proof there.

But I'm no attorney, just a dude with a BA in CJ.

Not to sure on tht one not a card holder yet but if you want to stay legal just find a few ppl tht have their cards and become a care giver tht way you can grow your limit and the others without going over and getting into trouble. I thought the Nevada law prohibits you from being a caregiver for someone else if you're caring for your own as shown here:

    DESIGNATED PRIMARY CAREGIVER
    NAC 453A.150 Restrictions. (NRS 453A.740)
    1. A person with a chronic or debilitating disease to whom a registry identification card has been issued may not be a designated primary caregiver.
    2. A designated primary caregiver may not be the designated primary caregiver to more than one person.
(Added to NAC by Dep’t of Agriculture by R095-01, eff. 10-1-2001)

    Am I interpreting this wrong?

    Nope.

"Your caregiver can be anyone as long as they are over the age of 18 and your physician approves of that person as a caregiver. However, a person cannot be in the program as a patient and a caregiver. Also, a patient may have only one caregiver, and a caregiver can only be a caregiver to one patient." [via (pdf)]

If u r curious of growing more then 7 check out the affirmative defense section of nrs 453a u still will get the plants confiscated but if u have a notorized affidavit from a doctor in good standing with the state of nv u will have a defense in court. The doctor may also need to apear in court. If u have any reason u can think of to tell a doctor u can't smoke weed but rather vaporize or eat edibles( smokings bad for your health) he possibly would give u an 50- 100 plant limit and up to 2# of useable bud for a small additional fee

Exactly, i've heard of this a number of times. As long as your unable to smoke, your dr can exempt you for up to 100 plants I believe. Since edibles take more product to produce.
My grow was raided pretty much by ACCIDENT, and is canceled...
It's NOT paranoia when there REALLY ARE people out to get you...
    Everyone remember that.

Yea u can be a caregiver but cant smoke the product only grow it.
Amd to be honest iwonderd this my self i think if u have 2 over they might just take em or 1 over i dont see em doing much. Maybe taking it and giving u a fine, but i eont see em taking ur card away unless ur traficting.
    Dont legalize! Just decriminalize!!
