For all of those tickled pink by the mighty power of Black Sabbath i bring you OM and Sleep!

Sleep formed in the early 90's out there in beautiful sunny California and made 3 of the 90's best stoner rock/metal albums, and arguably some of the best of all time. Full of huge stomping riffs and incredible rythms, these dudes blasted all out of the water and pioneered the genre. Upon their split after the album "Dopesmoker" the guys went on hiatus for the remainder of the 90's, eventually forming High On Fire and OM. I personally think High On Fire sucks, but OM is OUT OF THIS WORLD. 2 man band of pure stoned out RYTHM. In my honest opinion some of the best tunes to roll out period in years. Featuring Al Cisneros and Chris Hiakus of Sleep's rythm section, they put out 3 full length albums and 2 splits with about 12 songs in total. Long, repetitive, super intelligent songs, NOT for those with a short attention span, or those WITHOUT A GOOD STASH! Although i recommend OM to anyone, fire up a good bone and throw on their newest album "Pilgrimage" and you're set to get blasted into hyperspace. Think Pink Floyd's "Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun" mixed with "inna godda davida" with lyrics so intelligent, you'll need a link to dictionary.com handy. CHECK THESE GUYS OUT!!!!!!!!
