So, i'm sure alot of you've heard mudvayne's lastest effort (new game).. and their last 2 (lost and found, and for the people by the people)

but what about the mudvayne that burst on the scene with dig? Surely there's some REAL mudvayne fans out there..

whats your favorite song? What stands out the most about them? Is it the offbeat drumming? The different styles of bass? The poetic lyrics? Badass guitar?

I kinda succumbed to the idea that they were.. yes, WERE the greatest metal band.. they had all the talent, all the peices fit.. songs like dig, death blooms, trapped in the wake of a dream, -1.. ect ect.. I loved everything about 'em.. where else can you hear so many different styles in one song?

If you call yourself a metal fan.. and are unfortunate enough to have never heard this band, do yourself a favor.. stop whatever you're doing.. and go buy l.d50 and the end of all things to come.. even kill I oughta, and just listen.. light up a joint, put on your headphones, turn up your stereo.. whatever you gotta do man.. just be ready to get blowed the fuck away..

I'm not sure what happened to 'em.. if they had vagina implants or just used up all their talent on those three albums.. (really two, but kill I oughta is just to give you an idea of where they started and where they went), but the new music just doesnt live up to what they did.. it's hard to explain.. it's like reaching climax, and then somebody just squeezes the head of your dick and makes you backfire...

the new album is pretty good.. I mean, it's good.. but when you listen to death blooms or dig.. even skrying.. you're left wondering what tha fuck man? It almost sounds like a member of the orginal line-up died.. but asfar as I know thats the orginal 4
