I'm kinda just looking for a hobby or something and music is my obvious choice.. I love listening to it and wish I could play any instrument.. but nobody I know plays anything except drums, and he's a fuckin dick and wont show anybody anything.. and I dont think im that co-ordinated.. anyway..

I'm just looking for something to maybe mash-up some songs that I already ahve on my computer at this point. I wanna maybe try creating some later.. but thats another topic.. anyway..

I don;t ahve alot of money, and I'm new to the idea of it... as in I've never thought about doing it before.. but anyway.. surely it's rather simple... I've been in a studio and worked on some tracks with my friend who plays drums.. he had a midi program that would allow you to record your music and other samples and mash them together.

I'm not looking to go that big.. but maybe later after I learn the programs and whatever.. I have alot of time on my hands, so i'd have ample oppurtunity to mess around with it and I love music... it's a bigger part of my life than my mom or my friends.. so I knbow i'd always be messing with it..

Does anybody know of any good programs I could buy or download? I don;t really liek downloadings hit off the net.. too many viruses out there and what not.. I don;t know what the program was that my boy had.. but it was fun ashell.. I'd prolly ahve to upgrade my soundcard and everything.. clear alot of space on my computer.. but I don;t care..

If anybody knows what i'm talking about help me out

Are any of these the type of thing you'd use to do live mixes and dj like say the guys on dubstep or what do they use for all that mixing and beat matching live like that? Can't be turntables still can it?
