I see lots of Hip-hip, and rock represented here. Both very strong genres with great artists. But lately there has been some very folk influenced music coming out that has a fantastic, dream-like, chilled-out, sound.
What comes to mind is Fleet Foxes, and Iron and Wine I've also heard Bon Iver is great but haven't listen to much myself. I understand its not everybody's cup of tea, so try to restrain yourself if you are itching to flame. Last edited by el shaggy; 08-31-2008 at 09:12 PM.. Reason: redundancies |

And greenday, I also first heard of Iron and Wine when he covered Such Great Heights. I didn't think much of it cause I liked the Postal Service version mush more. The Shepard's Dog is a great album from beginning to end. |
