Hi does anyone know what they will be thinking about changing in the law? I heard maybe 5 people to a caregiver, and a 2 oz a month limit. maybe more.

Well, I'll try to find the link, but you can read that 59-page bill....it's much worse than that (if it passes as written)
1st of all...there will be no more "caregivers" or "patients". It's changing to "cardholders", "dispensaries", "growers", "providers", etc. There will be no residential grows for anyone other than a cardholder. IOW, no growing at your residence if you are a provider.
A "provider" will be able to have no more than 5 cardholders and each cardholder has to list their provider AND the place where the grow is located. It must be open to inspection.
Some other fun facts.....they are advocating 2 or more doctors to sign recommendations for anyone claiming "chronic pain" as their debilitating condition.
Go to Montana Norml and read up a bit. It's not very encouraging.

On Wednesday morning (Jan 19, 2011) at 8AM, the House Judiciary Committee will meet in room 137 to discuss HB 33, which makes operating a motor vehicle while there is any dangerous drug or its metabolite in the person’s body a DUI offense.
In other words, HB 33 would makes it a violation for cannabis consumers (cardholding or not) to operate vehicles if they’ve used cannabis any time in the past month or even longer.
Here’s what you can do to help:
If you can’t make it to Helena to testify, you can call or email:
Phone: 406-444-4800
That’s the number for the information desk. Tell them you would like to leave a message for the House Judiciary Committee, and they will take a brief message. An example message might be simply:
“I urge you to vote NO on House Bill 33, which does not promote public safety and unfairly targets medical marijuana patients.”
I saw this and became vary sad today!
