Cash laying around tells me that it's not a case of "we forgot to make our bank deposit yesterday" but more of a "we are trying to circumvent the system that sooo many people worked many years to get in place".
You mean the system that our enemies put in place? Bill Shuttee? The COA ?

As I said, I am not at all familiar with the Michigan statutes concerning MMJ or how Michigan got to where they they are with MMJ.

Just having that amount of cash laying around just seemed unreasonable to me.

You would think that 5 years into this act at least one brilliant pro bono mind in Michigan would emerge to protect The Peoples rights putting an end to these games once and for all. Surly the disconnect between military assault teams raiding patients and caregivers homes for the bounty of forfeiture based on federal mob/cartel precedent causes concern with all Constitutional lawyers, except the two currently in charge :(

Whom are the top lawyers in this state representing The People over the past 5 years and what is their greatest accomplishment/legal argument?
Sadly with the way Michigan seems to work at least to an outsider makes pro bono very unlikely. The entire thing is disgusting but to be expected when you combine assets that can be seized to prop up a broken system.

But in this specific case without further details its to early to know what the hells going on.

I just don't get it, armed robbery is armed robbery in my book and NO amount of lawyers and their plausible deniability change that. A badge, gov't pay check and a warrant lacking any integrity is by no means an "affirmative defense" to these violent crimes. But, who are you going to call ...

Judge just tossed 3-4 cases up here. Head of bayonet was caught on tape Tryin to get the fleur operator to lie. Leo lied to get warrants all where tossed.
Now all if the victims are on a hit list. Thousands of dollars spent and homes in foreclosure and no one will even lose an advancement let alone their jobs.
