The argueing needs to stop
You guys are not solving anything with this non stop back and forth bickering. Every thread is filled with it in here and it's really getting out of hand. I don't want to close the threads because they have or (HAD) potential for good discussions.
Debating is one thing but this back and forth name calling and belittling each other bullshit is another and it's going to stop now.
We are all entitled to our opinions here (even though some of them are the worse ass smell) Let try to use a little more tact in our debates and not resort to name calling etc.
Rule is from here on out, if you want to debate, the first person to resort to name calling or childish insults LOSES, no matter who is right and the thread will be locked.
I apologize in advance to anyone that misses an opportunity to contribute to a good thread that gets ruined by these guys. My suggestion is don't post shit that is going to start an argument for awhile. In the mean time I will be consulting with RIU as to further actions to take if this doesn't stop.

Good luck with that, man. You are fighting human nature and you will not win that battle. It is very sad but very true that we are evolving monkeys and often don't play well with each other.
A heavy handed approach will cause you to lose credibility and dumb down the responses. Civility is expected but less often found and acting like our collective dad will not get you what you want.
It should only take about 2 weeks for all the intelligent folks to leave if you actually try to enforce things in this manner. When ever you allow people to talk about a topic of any kind you will get differing view points and this will sometimes cause heated debates. If you have people who have to resort to name calling on a regular basis perhaps it would be more beneficial to the entire community to ban those folks ( don't use personal friendships to judge them) as a long time lurker here at RUI I have seen the same thing over and over from a lot of the same users they spew all the garbage they can make up until those who have intelligent ideas and thoughts to share are over whelmed and simply stop trying to make a point. When they are not able to win a debate with fact, reason, and logic they often resort to shouting and name calling and lies.

I for one hope that you follow through with this. Iam sick of seeing people belittle other people for them just trying to help. IF you see info that you think is incorrect just say something, dont be a complete turd burgler.

The 400 pages of the Timmah and bob sideshow arguing over who is smarter is getting old.
Maybe you can post an IQ test for those two and we can settle this once and for all?
