Nah, I'd rather go with a nice professionally manufactured tent for all the frustration I'd wind up going through trying to make my own, the $125 is well worth it. Shit it's only 1 time investment so I think I'll be happy with putting the money into the tent instead of skimping. The tent has to be completely air tight sealed as I can't have any stinky stinky escaping and knowing my quality of workmanship, I'll leave it up to the pros. Damned apartment living.....
been a long few days jonny, did you ever say hhow big you wanted to go? You are correct about the tent being a good investment. If you are going larger than one light I would def. get one of the better tents on market.
I am aware of a Michigander, that makes tents of multiple sizes. all items are US sourced, and US made. Tents look Nice. but not seen them in person. I ll find the link to his website and post it up for anyone interested. I like Made in Michigan, and this guy is all Made in Michigan for the most part.
