Why are you so worried about what others do?
Right??? what is it that's effecting your life so much you can't help but, post about people not "really" needing MMJ??? go get a hobby or something.... Christ I bet you get all up in arms about gay marriage,Birth control, Abortions... if it's not your gay son, your uterus or your own daughter.... then why bother wasting energy?

wait I'm going to take my own advice and step off form this thread.... good day

Well..I do have hobbies, my son IS gay, birth control and abortions are a woman's decision and unlike many, I have an open mind and realistic view on medical cannabis.

I need medical marijuana now. I didn't ten years ago. After work we would roll up tools, split a case of beer and smoke some weed. I would instantly unwind from a rough, physical day and go home to my family and be happy.
I honestly believe doing that IS medicinal. Would a doctor write me a script for that? No. But it worked wonders. Anyone that wants to smoke marijuana should have the opportunity. Good conversation.

I agree. If people can walk into a liquor store at 7am and cash their check, buy a gallon of liquor and a case of beer, a crack pipe, porno, papers, and chore boy, why is smoking weed so bad. It's a joke to me. People need to focus more on getting our economy back on track. Oh yeah at $100 a pop to the state (who is broke) I think beggars can't be choosers. If people want to smoke herb...who the hell cares! So many other issues more important in Michigan that need attention right now.....

I agree..it far better as a recreational substance than alcohol...but all we have is a medical use law at the moment. My point is that if the med law were used responsibly..it may help a future decriminalization effort...but when blatantly abused WILL hurt any future decriminalization effort

Bob, we won the war. The government is simply negotiating with us. Nobody cares about jay walking, EVERYBODY drives 5-10 mph over the limit. Because we all drive our government will play hell telling us all that the new speed limit is 25 mph UNTIL we learn to drive responsibly. lmao. Good Luck with that one. You will not lose your medical rights. (If you do, you can be my spades partner in jail) FYI-spades is a card game! lmao.

I'm not worried about losing my medical rights. I was using cannabis and growing my own for my PD before the med law passed. Since I kept that to myself, didn't let any one know I grew, never sold any, and didn't reek of the stuff when I went out, I figured my chances of getting "busted" were pretty darn minimal.

And actually , i agree. The state is negotiating with us..or at least trying to. What amazes me are the number of cg's and patients that don't want to negotiate.

Some of those people tried to negotiate for decades. The government caused this, not us! I cannot believe the amount of people that are complying with the law! And many don't want to negotiate cuz they know the government couldn't care less about health and safety - they want and need cash. So the government is saying, hey let us repeatedly fuck with some patients. The only thing I am willing to negotiate is them giving us more rights.
The government is a bully, not a parent. If some guy breaks into my house and I catch him, I don't say - well put my jewelry back and you can keep my TV?! What the fuck is that?

Under your logic, we would have no med law. After all..any change fucks with your rights. You see, your problem is, all you are truly concerned with, is yourself. If something suits your needs its fine..otherwise it's bullshit.

Under Federal law..we are all criminals for using or growing medical cannabis. So yes..I am a criminal. I'm just glad I'm in a state that passed a law to give me a small degree of protection.

So Timmahh, after you overthrow the current government, how will YOUR new system fix the infastructure, create jobs, improve healthcare, provide protection from radically US opposed countries?

Your statistic means nothing. The vast majority of prescriptions for pain meds are short term scrips. Anyone who has a surgery, even a vasectomy, which I'd encourage you to get so we don't have little ones thinking like you, get pain meds to help short term through the recovery process.

The key word is not pain..it's chronic. Chronic means persistent..not going to go away. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if someone truly has chronic pain..they have sought help from a real Doctor, and have records, over a long period of time, showing treatment.

At least, I can't imagine someone suffering from CHRONIC pain, that would'nt seek help...or mention it to freinds...
Ive suffered from severe and chronic pain for years. After going to so many doctors I cant possibly count them with little to no results I gave up and didnt see a Doctor for years. I lived with it as best i could and at times i even found myself hiding it from others because i was embarresed. constant pain can cause you to do things you might not normally do and behave in sometimes strange ways.
I find your idea to be ridiculous and offensive...show me your Medical license before you make any more diagnoses from the couch. And while your at it please show me the statistics to prove your "vast majority of stoners hiding behind chronic pain" claim.
Are you a medical patient in Michigan? If so, what did you recieve your card for?

you are missing the BIG Picture here Bob. If its cannabis yesterday, and my daughters need for birth control today, and Feral Pigs tomorrow (yes Mi DNR is now trying to make Mi Pig Farmers Criminals for the money machine) then when is it going to stop bob.

Today, tomorrow? it sure as fuck hasnt stopped them yesterday now has it. When will it be, or what situation will it take you to stand the fuck up? when they are kicking down your fucking door, to arrest you for growing cannabis as you just openly admitted to commiting a FEDERAL CRIME< and Bill Schuette says YOU ARE A PROFITEER most obviously, you willingly broke federal law. Is THAT the only time you will give two fucks about what YOUR Government is doing bob?

Maybe you'll give a shit when they bust down your boys door for having a naked man lay in his bed with him. perhaps you'll care then.

and you call me a selfish fuck. what a Piece of Shit you are bob. I still hope you do well with your sickness, but your a fucktard.
