So not coverage by a card in hand? I read that judges only consider printed and held cards. The 21 day clause isn't counted in court anymore is that right?
Yes WW cards are 6+ months out..

By all of the news headlines I read on MMJ in Michigan....it seems it depends on where you live how MMJ is handled. You may be drug through the court system for a year to prove your innocence in 1 part of Michigan and in another, you're left alone and the police focus on actual crime.
Law enforcement and the judicial system seem to be making the rules as they go...
Absolutely right. The judges just rule how they want. With Brenda here in the UP the police officer and then the judge said her paperwork wasn't valid until she received her hard card. Even months later when they were proven wrong, it didn't change anything. And the State Trooper still used that bullshit as a reason to arrest her and search her and the vehicle. Judges and prosecutors do what they want, some are fantastic! Some are just pissed off all the time like Judge Judy. lol.
Look at this link, this is the perfect example of WTF!?

I got my card today... yay I feel so much more protected and legal now...![]()
Guess I'm lucky my personal physician signed for me. The amendments are horseshit because the law was drafted with purposful language already. for the legeslators to say we just shat out some words on to paper and it's unenforcable as it drives me batty! I can't believe more private physicains don't sign for you. did everyone ask or assume?
How long before the expiration date is everone doing their renewals these days?

Hell I'd send it a couple months ahead anyways...
Stump, I have read through House Bill 4850, Senate Bill 377, and Senate Bill 506. Here's what I'm seeing:
HB4850- Basically clarifies that a primary caregiver CAN'T transfer marijuana to anyone other than one of their qualifying patients.
SB377- States that within 48 hours of issuing a card to a patient or caregiver, that information will be passed on to state police. In the bill it states that this information is to be used to determine if an individual in CUSTODY for possession or distribution of marijuana is in fact a qualifying patient or primary caregiver.
SB506- This bill attempts to clarify what a "bona fide physician-patient relationship" is. While this does make a physicians certification more in depth, it does not state that you have to obtain your recommendation form your primary physician, nor does it state that "chronic pain" is no longer a valid reason to receive a recommendation.
If I'm missing anything here, or if there is another bill that I'm unaware of, please let me know. As it stands, it will be a little more difficult to receive a card, but I don't see this as the doomsday scenario that you're painting.

There's a whole shit-house full of bills. You're analyzing 3 out of 21 bills. Maybe I'm wrong and I hope so. I'm good at getting overly hyped about shit lol.
