I have a problem

I do my grow at my parents house in the basement. They got approved for a low income house restoration project. So people will have to come in and do a full inspection. Do you guys think my grow is ok or should I try to seal off part of the basement to keep them out. Any advise would be great thanks.

Nobody can have access to your grow execpt for YOU.. That means if there will be people inspecting and they can access your grow you are out of the law and can be subject to prosecution.

A nice little trick the courts are using is if you are beyond the law at all they will deny you the right to use the mmma as a defense and you will be charged as a criminal without even being able to say it was for medical reasons.

Yes im legal they will have to go in the basement to inspect the furnace. This throws a wrench in my plans.

Yup, growing your plants at someone Else's residence won't fly.

Where do you get that from? It appears legal to allow other people in to your grow room to me.

You better go back and re-read the law buddy. If you are a patient growing for yourself YOU are the only one allowed access. If you are a caregiver, your patient and yourself are the only ones allowed access.

I read it and I don't see it.

Well I have two locked doors one is out side on the ground level and the other is inside the house. I am the only one with a key and have a notice on both doors so I think I'm ok as far as that goes. My problem is I would have to let someone in the basement to inspect the furnace.

If someone goes in the basement and can see your plants... you're done, or lucky. Your risk, you decide.

that's a big violation

I double checked, it doesn't say you can't have anyone else in your room. It says that the room must have locks that only the caregiver or patient can access.


3(c) "Enclosed, locked facility" means a closet, room, or other enclosed area equipped with locks or other security devices that permit access only by a registered primary caregiver or registered qualifying patient.


That's in the definitions, I'm guessing that's what everyone thinks makes someone else in the room illegal.
